Last year’s May Day March put the spotlight on all Hispanics not only was it was the largest march in Chicago, but also a defining moment in the immigration reform movement.To keep politicians and the public aware of their presence immigrants and supporters are taking the streets again on May 1st to rally for the Employee Free Choice Act and to gain legal rights for immigrant workers.The march also calls for legalization of all immigrants, residence with civil and labor rights, and stopping deportations.This time on “City Voices” we hear from two generations on immigration to discuss the on going fight for immigration reform.The guests on this show are Rosi Carrasco, leader of the March 10th Movement and her daughter Tania Unzueta of Radio Arte.Links:
