The Internet has created a new generation of individuals and institutes that practice the time-honored tradition of observing and reporting on the activities of government. These are reporters in the sense of court reporters, not journalists, auditors as in independent investigators rather than CPAs.

Busy weekend

This weekend the progressive communicators are coming to town. Well, almost to town, it’s a retreat at Techny Towers. If you are looking for one-stop shopping for a nonprofit communications toolkit, PCN, which has been around since 2000 and is a sort of community of interest for some of the best nonprofit communication folks in the country, they’ve got it all at their site.
