The Beverly Arts Center is offering “fine art at budget prices” for holidary shoppers at its Fine Art Studio Sale on Saturday, December 5, 2:30 to 7:30 p.m.  BAC is located at 2407 W. 111th.

Thirty-two artists “have cleaned out their studios” and are offering sketches, paintings, photographs, etchings, all priced under $300, and many under $100.  The BAC Auxilliary Board is providing appetizers and a cash bar for the event.

Also Saturday, Bright Endeavors hosts a holiday open house sale at its studio at 4229 N. Honore, starting at 6 p.m.  Enjoy live music and refreshments and check out the organization’s Dreambean line of soy and palm wax candles.

They’re made and sold in Bright Endeavors’ nonprofit social enterprise, which provides work experience and life skills to help homeless and at-risk women aged 16 to 25 break the cycle of poverty.
