Vicente De La Cruz offers a 25 year experience in Hispanic Media. He currently leads the Editorial Department of La Raza Newspaper, the Most Awarded Publication in 2010 by the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP).
As Managing Editor of La Raza Newspaper, the largest Hispanic weekly in the nation, he has been responsible for successfully redesigned the publication with a more vigorous graphic presence and shorter articles, a formula that has produced a 29% new readership for La Raza in the last two years despite a 25% distribution cut in 2007.
Understanding the complex Hispanic market is one of the greatest assets in his career. The fact of being a Mexican himself gives him great ability to effectively understand and reach the biggest segment in the Hispanic market. As a English-Spanish translator for the past two decades, Mr. De La Cruz has being capable of developing useful trans-adaptations for the Hispanic community, achieving a greater impact in favor of the companies he has done translations for, including Quixtar-Amway Global, Scion (Toyota) and Allstate, among many others.
