Suzanne Franklin
Suzanne Franklin is the Director of Community Programs, Planning & Development for Jewish Child & Family Services (JCFS) of Chicago. The mission of JCFS is to provide help, healing, and caring services infused with Jewish values to strengthen lives in our community. Services include Counseling and Support for adults, children, families and couples; Community Programs and Services; Residential and Child Welfare Services; Education and Childcare Services; and Services for People with Disabilities.
Ms. Franklin received your master’s degree in Child & Family Counseling. She is graduate of the Executive Leadership Institute, a joint project of the University of Michigan & the Alliance for Children & Families, and also a recognized and accredited representative for the Board of Immigration Appeals. Before joining JCFS in 1990, Ms. Franklin’s professional experiences included: Coordinator of Mental Health Services for the American Consulate in Jerusalem, Israel, Executive Director of Orchards Children’s Services, a large child welfare agency in Detroit, Michigan and was a race relations consultant for Focus Hope, a not for profit human rights organization also based in Detroit, Michigan. Ms. Franklin was a Peace Corps volunteer in Turkey.
