Maude Carroll
Maude Carroll has been the communications associate at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago since August 2008. Responsible for promoting the Foundation’s online presence, Maude looks for new and exciting social media tools and ideas to communicate the Foundation’s HIV/AIDS prevention, care, advocacy, and grant making efforts, as well as its various fundraising and educational events. Prior to working at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, Maude was marketing coordinator at the Community Media Workshop for over four years where she provided customer support and helped promote the Workshop’s media guide, the Making Media Connections Conference, the Studs Terkel Media Awards Benefit, and the year-round nonprofit communications workshops they offer. With a background in documentary video production and a BA in Communications from Antioch College, Maude applies her skills in storytelling and interviewing in her day-to-day work and strives to keep up with advancements in technology in order to be an excellent nonprofit communicator.
