Kathleen Duffy
Kathleen Duffy has served as the Communications and Events Organizer for the Illinois Campaign for Better Health Care since September 2007, creating messaging tools, managing press outreach, and devising communications tools for health care advocates. Committed to addressing community needs from the ground up, she is the founding organizer and a current director of Chicago’s only community owned storefront grocery store, the Dill Pickle Food Co-op in Logan Square. Prior to making the jump to advocacy, Kathleen worked extensively with arts organizations and artists as a business manager, administrator, and grant writer in Chicago and her hometown of Sunnyside, New York. She graduated from the University of Buffalo (NY) with a degree in English.
