Anne Marie MitchellAnne Marie Mitchell has 20 years experience as a reporter, media spokesperson, crisis communications manager, corporate communications executive, executive coach and strategic communications trainer. One key area of expertise is in the area of matrix communications management, creating and executing strategies to lead teams that share responsibility for communication messaging to internal and/or external audiences, yet who are separated by geography and/or reporting lines.

Anne Marie has worked with Fortune 500 clients and many non-profits, including Amoco (now BP), Georgia Pacific, FedEx, FMC, Case Corporation (now CNH), Nationwide, ComEd (the Chicago-based utility of parent company Exelon), Follett, Snap-On, the United States Postal Service, Lawrence Hall Youth Services, the Shedd Aquarium, Sprint, Greeley and Hansen, Abbott Pharmaceuticals and Sara Lee. Also, she has had a senior management role at several communications/consulting agencies, including Ketchum Public Relations, GolinHarris and dg&a.

Anne Marie is fluent in Spanish, and has lived and traveled extensively in Spain, Mexico and South America. A native of Chicago, she has a Bachelors degree in Journalism and Spanish from Indiana University, and a Masters in Spanish Literature from Loyola University.
