Chicago is the World: A Moroccan in Chicago

For the past three weeks, Community Media Workshop hosted Saad Lamzouaq, a journalist from the Sahara Media Agency in Morocco.

Chosen as a Fellow for an exchange program implemented by Citizen Bridges International, Saad came to the Workshop to understand the work that we do and the Chicago media outlets we work with. Read about his experience on the Chicago is the World blog.

Funding for this project was provided by the U.S. Department of State for a program called “Legislative Fellows: An Exchange Program for Egypt, Morocco and the U.S.” implemented by Citizen Bridges International (formerly Heartland International), a nonprofit organization in Chicago, Illinois in partnership with Center for Peace and Human Development in Cairo, Egypt and  Neighborhoods Association (IDMAJ) in Casablanca, Morocco.
