Video: We Are Not Alone / No Estamos Solos Project for Peace in Chicago

On June 28th, 2011, Community Media Workshop & the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council hosted an event at Northeastern Illinois University that brought together Black and Latino media and community groups to talk about their efforts against violence in their respective Chicago neighborhoods for the We Are Not Alone / No Estamos Solos campaign. This video by Free Spirit Media showcases the spirit of this project for peace in Chicago.

The We Are Not Alone / No Estamos Solos campaign is an effort to bring peace to Chicago neighborhoods by linking the local media and community groups.

You can join the campaign by liking it on Facebook, or by telling us about your experience with violence in our city of Chicago.
